Dog Handler YOSH HOSPITALITY LLC OPC

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dog Handler to join our team. The role is ideal for someone with a strong passion for canine welfare, experience in handling dogs of varying sizes and temperaments, and a professional attitude. You will be responsible for the care, training support and safe handling of dogs within a busy environment. This position is open to applicants from all backgrounds and is gender neutral.

Key responsibilities for Dog Handler role

• Safely handle and control dogs on-site and at external locations, ensuring public safety and animal welfare.

• Provide daily care including feeding, grooming, exercise and monitoring of health and behaviour.

• Assist with basic training tasks and reinforcement of training plans under the guidance of senior trainers or behaviourists.

• Complete accurate records of each dog's behaviour, health observations and training progress using our systems.

• Manage kennel maintenance and ensure hygienic environments are maintained to industry standards.

• Support veterinary appointments and follow through with prescribed treatments as required.

• Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet operational needs, including weekend and occasional evening shifts.
