Founded in 1908 in Ennepetal, Germany, the DORMA Group was engaged in the fabrication of double-action door hinges and milled screws. Now the company offers holistic solutions, which cover all the facets of the operations of doors, starting from hinges to closers and from floor springs to automatic door systems. The wide range of portfolio encompasses Automatic Doors, Access Control, Bathroom Fittings and Accessories, Security / Fixed and Moveable Partitions, and Sliding and Swing Doors Systems.

 

DORMA has its production plants across China, Europe, Malaysia, North America, Singapore, and South America. The company operates internationally across 47 different countries with 71 completely-owned companies. The company also has a strong presence in the Middle East markets. In 1997, DORMA launched DORMA Gulf Door Controls FZE in Dubai, and later in Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

 

The organization has its contribution in a number of innovative projects of the region, some of which include Burj Khalifa (Dubai), Burj Al Arab (Dubai), Mall of Arabia (Jeddah), and Qatar National Convention Centre. DORMA aims to assure energy-saving and resource-conserving production. The company looks forward to assure sustainable development and strives to offer quality products having high longevity and high recycling ratio, while assuring cost effectiveness.
