Job Summary

Dupod is looking to hire a competent and experienced Site Engineer to be based on-sites in basically in RAK and Dubai to oversee daily construction activities. The role requires strong technical expertise, 3 years at least hands-on site experience as an Engineer, and excellent English communication skills to ensure effective coordination with stakeholders, compliance with project requirements, and successful project delivery. The Site Engineer will play a key role in maintaining quality, safety, and schedule adherence on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily construction site operations to ensure smooth and efficient project execution.

Supervise and coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and on-site personnel in accordance with project plans.

Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.

Monitor construction progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to approved schedules.

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues and construction challenges on-site.

Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve technical and operational matters.

Implement and strictly enforce health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.

Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality, safety, and compliance standards are met.

Prepare and submit progress reports, site records, and technical documentation to project management.

Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil or a related Engineering discipline is mandatory).

Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Site Engineer, with hands-on involvement in site-based construction projects.

Must be positioned on-site and capable of managing day-to-day operational challenges.

Very strong English communication skills (written and spoken) are essential.

Solid knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality standards, and site procedures.

Good understanding of local building codes, regulations, and HSE standards.

Strong problem-solving, coordination, and technical troubleshooting abilities.

Ability to work under pressure, manage priorities, and meet project deadlines.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
