Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare engineering drawings, lifting sketches, and technical layouts based on project requirements

  • Develop CAD drawings for lifting plans, rigging arrangements, equipment positioning, and transport routing

  • Support Project Engineers and Technical Manager with design documentation

  • Update and revise drawings based on client and engineering feedback

  • Conduct site visits when required for measurements and as-built data collection

  • Maintain drawing registers and organized documentation records

  • Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure safe and practical design solutions

  • Prepare 2D drawings, equipment schematics, and basic 3D visualizations when required

  • Ensure all drawings comply with company standards and international safety guidelines

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Ability to prepare lifting plans, method statements, and technical drawings

  • Understanding of crane operations, lifting engineering, and transport layouts

  • Strong attention to detail and drawing accuracy

  • Ability to perform basic engineering calculations such as axle load distribution, COG, braking force, turning radius, and slope analysis

  • Good coordination and communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines


Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Mechanical / Drafting / Structural Engineering

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Drafting Engineer

  • Experience with EPC companies and fabrication/installation projects

  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and related drafting software

  • Basic site or field experience is an advantage

  • Familiarity with standards such as EN 12195, ISO 19901, DNV-ST-N001, LOLER, and local transport regulations
