Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a talented AV Design Drafter / CAD Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical drafting skills, experience with AV system designs, and the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings. If you are detail-oriented, creative, and passionate about technical design, this role is for you.

The job is offshore based in favor of Samir Group (KSA)

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare technical drawings, single-line diagrams, shop drawings, and as-built plans for AV projects.

- Review project plans for compliance with requirements and identify discrepancies.

- Work closely with technical teams to extract necessary quantities, material specifications, and design details.

- Interpret architectural and engineering drawings for AV system integration.

- Support sustainable and ergonomic design principles in all layouts.

- Ensure quality control and attention to detail across all drafted deliverables.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications & Educational Background.

- 3+ years of experience in a similar role (portfolio submission is a plus).

- AutoCAD proficiency (essential).

- Knowledge of Visio for system diagrams.

- 3D Modeling expertise using SketchUp, 3D Max, Revit, or similar.

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.

- Experience in surveying and extracting quantities for design.

Industry-Specific Knowledge

- Understanding of AV hardware and software integration.

- Familiarity with environmental, ergonomic, and sustainable design principles.

- CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) from AVIXA is a plus.

Soft Skills

- Proficiency in English language communication

- Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities.

- Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
