Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings for plumbing systems
- Develop layouts for water supply, drainage, soil & waste, storm water, and rainwater systems
- Interpret design drawings, specifications, and BOQs accurately
- Coordinate with MEP, BIM, and site teams to resolve drawing and execution issues
- Revise drawings based on consultant comments and site conditions
- Ensure drawings comply with UAE authority requirements
- Assist in preparing material submittals and technical documentation
- Maintain drawing records and revisions as per project procedures
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical Engineering or Draftsmanship
- Minimum 2–5 years experience as Mechanical Draftsman (Plumbing)
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and standards (UPC / IPC / local authority standards)
- Experience in high-rise buildings, commercial, or residential projects
- Familiarity with UAE construction practices is an advantage
- Good coordination and communication skills
