Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings of fire doors, frames, and related hardware, ensuring compliance with fire safety regulations and project specifications.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive library of standard fire door designs and details, enabling efficient project execution.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and fabricators to ensure design accuracy, constructability, and adherence to project timelines.
- Conduct thorough reviews of shop drawings and submittals from suppliers, verifying compliance with design intent and specifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Architectural Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field, providing a strong foundation in design principles.
- Holds relevant certifications such as AutoCAD Certified Professional (ACP) or Revit Certified Professional (RCP), showcasing proficiency in industry-standard software.
- Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in architectural drafting or detailing, specifically within the construction or manufacturing industry.
- Exhibits a deep understanding of fire-rated door systems, including hardware, materials, and their compliance with building codes and fire safety standards.
