Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop detailed fire protection system drawings, including sprinkler layouts, standpipe systems, and fire alarm schematics, adhering to relevant codes and standards.
- Create accurate 2D and 3D models of firefighting systems using CAD software, ensuring precise representation of components and their placement within building structures.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret design specifications and incorporate changes into drawings, maintaining project accuracy.
- Review and analyze architectural and structural plans to identify potential conflicts and ensure proper integration of fire protection systems.
Desired Candidate Profile
Possesses a Diploma or Associate's degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
Demonstrates minimum 3 years of experience in fire protection system design and drafting.
Exhibits strong knowledge of fire protection codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, IBC).
