Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed and accurate fitout shop drawings, joinery details, and as-built drawings for high-end interior projects, particularly hotel interiors.

  • Interpret architectural and interior design drawings to develop comprehensive technical drawings suitable for execution on-site.

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and other disciplines to ensure accuracy and feasibility of drawings.

  • Modify and update drawings based on site conditions, consultant feedback, and client requirements.

  • Prepare layouts for ceilings, partitions, flooring, wall finishes, millwork, and custom joinery items.

  • Maintain a proper drawing revision log and ensure timely submission and documentation of all drawings.

  • Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant UAE standards, project specifications, and company quality procedures.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degee or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in joinery and fitout drafting in the UAE/GCC.

  • Must have hands-on experience in high-end buildings or hotel projects preferred in the UAE/GCC.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and excellent knowledge of shop drawing preparation for interior fitout works.

  • Solid understanding of interior construction detailing, finishes, and joinery fabrication techniques.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

  • Familiarity with hotel interior standards and requirements is a plus.

  • Must be locally available in the UAE and ready to join immediately.
