Job Purpose

The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of customer vehicles during the repair process and for employee transportation. The role ensures vehicle safety, compliance with traffic regulations, proper key management, accurate trip logging, and adherence to safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Move customer vehicles at various stages of repair, from receipt through to delivery.

• Transport employees from accommodation to the workshop as required.

• Ensure protective covers are fitted to customer vehicles before driving.

• Drive and handle all vehicles safely and within the prescribed speed limits.

• Comply with all traffic rules and regulations at all times.

• Ensure key tags are completed accurately and attached to vehicle keys.

• Return and store all vehicle keys in the designated location immediately after parking.

• Report any accidents to the immediate superior without delay.

• Inform the superior immediately if valuables are found inside a vehicle.

• Strictly follow workshop and personal safety procedures in line with SOPs.

• Complete all required logs for external and internal trips.
