As a Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods or passengers to specified locations in a timely and safe manner. Your role will also include conducting regular maintenance checks on the vehicle to ensure optimal performance. Responsibilities

• Safely transport goods or passengers to their destinations within the scheduled timeline.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to identify and report maintenance requirements.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and transportation standards to ensure passenger and cargo safety.
• Maintain a clean and well-organized vehicle interior and exterior to ensure passenger comfort.
• Plan routes efficiently by considering time, distance, and possible traffic conditions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members as needed.
• Prepare and maintain accurate logs and records, including schedules, mileage, fuel intake, and expenses.
• Complete delivery and pick-up paperwork accurately and promptly to ensure proper record-keeping.
• Manage emergency situations effectively and report accidents or vehicle issues immediately.
• Utilize GPS and other navigation applications to ensure timely and efficient route planning.
• Adopt a customer-centric approach by delivering unparalleled service to passengers or clients.
• Stay informed about new routes, road regulations, and updates in transportation laws.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record for three or more years.
• Proven driving experience, preferably as a delivery driver or chauffeur.
• In-depth knowledge of local roads and areas within the city limits.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple deliveries.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy loads safely as needed.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to understand client needs effectively.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
