Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Transport Bank staff to desired destinations. Drive office vehicle(s) as requested, with due regard to time schedules, apply knowledge of driving regulations, safety requirements, traffic and conditions, and preferable routes to minimize travel time.

Ensure that the highest security standards are applied by passengers as per the Bank Road Safety guidelines and that local regulations are adhered to.

Perform the routine maintenance and cleaning of the assigned vehicle, check gasoline, oil, water, battery, brakes, signal lights, tires, etc.; conduct minor repairs and maintenance.

Take suitable precautions for the security of the vehicle and its contents when left unattended.

Maintain records of trips time and duration, mileage, gasoline consumption, oil changes, and servicing.

Deliver the vehicle to the designated vehicle maintenance location and ensure maintenance execution as requested.

Make minor purchases, collection, and delivery of required goods from local suppliers as needed for the office.

Undertake other assigned tasks requested by or through the Senior Operations Officer and/ or the Senior Office Administrator.

Desired Candidate Profile

Minimum of High School degree (Bachelor s degree preferred).

At least six years of driving experience; of which at least two years must be in an international / multinational or Development organizations.

Basic English is essential.

Valid Driver s License and good driving record.

Defensive driving skills training will be an advantage.

Technically sound in basic maintenance of the vehicle.

Good knowledge of roadways and traffic regulations; and proficiency in using navigation applications for efficient route planning.
