Formed in 1992 to develop and promote horse racing in Dubai, the DRC has grown Meydan into the world's largest integrated racing facility. The Dubai World Cup is the highlight of Dubai's sporting and social calendar, attracting the world's finest horses and riders with total prize money of US$30.5 million across nine races, including US$12 million in the title contest.
