Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Precisely measure, cut, and fabricate ductwork components according to blueprints and specifications, ensuring accurate dimensions for optimal airflow.
- Install duct systems, including both supply and return air ducts, in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings, adhering to building codes and safety regulations.
- Securely fasten ductwork using various methods such as screws, rivets, and welding, guaranteeing airtight connections and preventing leaks.
- Seal all ductwork joints and seams with appropriate sealants or tape to eliminate air leakage and maximize HVAC system efficiency.
Desired Candidate Profile
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in HVAC or sheet metal work is a plus.
Completion of a recognized apprenticeship program for duct installation or sheet metal work is desirable.
Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in duct installation, demonstrating proficiency in various installation techniques.
