Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

This duty engineer role at Accor Dubai ensures the smooth operation of all mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems across the property. The role is essential for maintaining safety, preventing equipment failures, and supporting uninterrupted hotel operations through proactive maintenance and timely technical responses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure efficient performance
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment faults or technical breakdowns quickly
  • Conduct preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and avoid system failures
  • Respond to emergencies such as alarms, hazards, and system malfunctions following established procedures
  • Maintain detailed logs of equipment conditions, maintenance activities, and incidents
  • Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical requirements
  • Ensure compliance with engineering safety regulations and hotel standards
  • Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new systems or equipment
  • Maintain tools and engineering supplies required for daily operations
  • Assist in improving energy efficiency and equipment performance across the hotel
