Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. Engineering Data Entry & Management
  • Enter and maintain engineering data in E-ALPS, including:
    • Drawing numbers and revisions
    • Bill of Materials (BOM)
    • Material specifications and grades
    • Tag numbers and line/structure identification
  • Update revisions and ensure latest drawings are reflected in the system.
2. Drawing & Document Control Support
  • Upload and register engineering drawings in the system.
  • Track drawing revisions, approvals, and release status.
  • Maintain document logs and ensure proper document version control.
  • Coordinate with document controllers for document flow.
3. BOM & Material Coordination
  • Input and verify Bill of Materials (BOM) in E-ALPS.
  • Ensure alignment between:
    • Engineering BOM
    • Procurement data
    • Fabrication requirements
  • Highlight discrepancies in material data to engineering team.
4. Interface with Fabrication & Planning
  • Ensure engineering data is correctly linked to fabrication workflows.
  • Support mapping of:
    • Drawings to fabrication packages
    • Material to work orders
  • Coordinate with planning team for data consistency.
