Roles & Responsibilities


Key Responsibilities:

  • E-commerce Strategy & Growth:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy to achieve sales targets and expand market share for knee braces, wrist supports, and other orthomedic products.
  • Identify new opportunities for online growth, including market expansion, new product launches, and strategic partnerships.
  • Stay abreast of e-commerce trends, technologies, and competitor activities to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Website Management & Optimization:
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of our e-commerce platform (e.g., Shopify, Magento, WooCommerce), ensuring product accuracy, inventory synchronization, and site functionality
  • Implement A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies to improve site performance, user experience, and sales conversions.
  • Manage product listings, descriptions, imagery, and pricing to ensure accuracy and appeal, highlighting the benefits and specifications of orthomedic products.
  • Ensure mobile responsiveness and accessibility of the e-commerce site.
  • Digital Marketing & Customer Acquisition:
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and manage digital marketing campaigns (SEO, SEM, social media, email marketing, content marketing) to drive traffic and sales.
  • Optimize product visibility and search rankings for relevant orthomedic keywords.
  • Manage online advertising budgets and analyze ROI for various campaigns
  • Analytics & Reporting:
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on key e-commerce KPIs, including sales performance, conversion rates, traffic, AOV, and customer lifetime value.
  • Use data insights to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
  • Provide regular performance updates and strategic recommendations to senior management
  • Customer Experience:
  • Work closely with customer service to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, addressing online inquiries, returns, and feedback efficiently.
  • Implement strategies to enhance the post-purchase experience, including shipping, delivery, and support for medical products.
  • Inventory & Fulfillment:
  • Collaborate with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure optimal inventory levels, accurate forecasting, and efficient order fulfillment for all products, especially considering medical product specificities.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-commerce, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in e-commerce management, with a proven track record of driving online sales growth
  • Demonstrable experience with e-commerce platforms is essential (e.g., Wuilt, Shopify, Amazon, Noon and Jumia).
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Social Media, Email Marketing, Content Marketing).
  • Proficiency in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • Experience with CRO and A/B testing methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
    Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Prior experience in the healthcare, medical device, orthopedics, or related industries is highly preferred.
