Petroleum Development Oman (PDO)

Oversee installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of:

• Flowlines, well pads, and fiscal metering skids (FMS)..etc.
• Electrical systems: Hazardous area wiring (CompEx), switchgear, transformers, solar/UPS.
• Instrumentation: Field instrument devices Flow/pressure/temperature devices, control valves, FMS compliance.

Ensure adherence to P&IDs, loop diagrams, and electrical schematics.

Follow up on Well Pad, Access Road and Construction.

Follow up on Flowline / hook up construction.

Ensure Well hook up is ready before Rig move out.

Review method statements, ITPs, and as-built documentation (API, IEC, ISA standards).

Resolve field discrepancies (e.g., design vs. execution) with engineering teams.

Enforce PTW systems, Life Saving Rules, and Process Safety Rules.

Conduct safety audits and toolbox talks.

Ensure jobs are executed with minimum environmental impact.

Monitor contractor performance, schedule, quality, and mitigate delays.

Ensure the implemented projects are commissioned as per design specification and is safely handed over to operation team.

Submit daily/weekly progress reports.

Ensure seamless handover to Commissioning/ Operation teams.
