Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities


Responsibilities:

Design and specify electrical and instrumentation systems for oil & gas facilities
Prepare technical documents, drawings, and scope of work
Review vendor documentation and equipment specifications
Support installation, testing, and commissioning activities
Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with safety and quality standards
Troubleshoot electrical and instrumentation issues during project execution
Ensure adherence to industry standards (IEC, IEEE, IEC 61850, etc.)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize system performance

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
Relevant experience in oil & gas projects, including upstream/downstream facilities
Knowledge of hazardous area classifications and safety standards (ATEX, IECEx)
Familiarity with control systems, SCADA, DCS, and instrumentation devices
Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills
Ability to work in challenging environments and under deadlines
