Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsible for the set-up of project databases, maintenance and users support for the E3D and Other engineering systems.

Possesses solid knowledge/experience (multiple years) of E3D project administration in the support of major projects (including support of a E3D user community with the various E3D modules and operating systems. Further exposure and experience with Oracle, C languages, PML, LISP and Visual Basic would be most desirable.

Possesses E3D/REVIEW/Navisworks knowledge.

Possesses broad onshore/offshore design experience with quality control/checking skills, and knowledge of fabrication techniques. Has knowledge of onshore/offshore oil and gas production facility design standards/specifications.

Understands the scope of each project and has the capability to create E3D project database structures that will enable the 3D design and subsequent creation of deliverables from the E3D project databases. This includes interfacing with other project Engineering databases (Oracle, Engineering Design Database, etc.) with the E3D databases.

  • University Degree in engineering or equivalent
  • 8-10 years of experience in applying the E3D Admin skill to upstream oil and gas projects with experience on major capital projects.
  • Is proficient in 2D and 3D CAD (E3D, S3D, others) with at least 12-15 years of industry discipline related CAD design experience (piping, structural, electrical/instrumentation).
  • Working and delivering in a multi-cultural environment
  • Fluent in English, Written and Spoken.
