Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

We are looking for DHA, DOH or MOH licensed ECG Technicians with pediatric and adults experience. We are looking for ECG Technicians with a minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience.

You would be responsible for greeting and escorting patients to the testing room, explain procedures clearly to alleviate anxiety, and answer any questions they may have. Perform standard 12-lead ECGs by correctly positioning the patient and attaching electrodes to specific areas of the chest, arms, and legs. Operate and monitor EKG equipment, ensuring high-quality, clear, and accurate tracings free from interference or artifact.

Perform or assist with other non-invasive cardiovascular tests, such as stress tests (monitoring the heart during exercise on a treadmill) and Holter or event monitoring (applying portable devices for continuous, long-term heart monitoring). Monitor the patient's vital signs (heart rate, blood pressure) during procedures and observe for any adverse reactions or symptoms. Identify and report any gross abnormalities or critical findings to the attending physician or nursing staff immediately.

Maintain accurate and detailed patient records within the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, process test results for physician review, and assist with scheduling appointments and other clerical duties as needed.

Perform minor maintenance, cleaning, and calibration of EKG machines and related equipment to ensure proper function, and manage inventory of supplies.

Respond to cardiac arrest or other urgent situations to provide prompt EKG services as part of a medical team.
