Roles & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive echocardiograms, utilizing advanced imaging techniques to capture detailed cardiac structures and function, ensuring accurate diagnostic data.
  • Perform stress echocardiograms, meticulously monitoring patient responses during exercise or pharmacological stress, providing critical insights into cardiac performance under duress.
  • Analyze echocardiographic images and data, generating preliminary reports for cardiologists, highlighting key findings and potential abnormalities.
  • Operate and maintain sophisticated echocardiography equipment, troubleshooting technical issues and ensuring optimal performance for accurate imaging.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possesses an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related field, providing a strong foundation in medical imaging.

  • Holds current certification as a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS), demonstrating professional expertise.

  • Demonstrates a minimum of 3 years of experience in performing echocardiograms in a clinical setting, showcasing practical proficiency.

  • Exhibits a deep understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology, enabling accurate image interpretation.
