Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
The E-commerce Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for establishing a single source of truth across all ecommerce channels, including D2C, marketplaces, aggregators, retail media, and CRM. The role enables leadership to make fast, informed commercial decisions through reliable data and insights.
This position goes beyond reporting and focuses on decision enablement by defining key KPIs, building dashboards, and setting up standardized reporting frameworks. It also drives data storytelling and insights for Business Units and other verticals within the Ecommerce Hub to support performance optimization and strategic decision-making.
How Will You Make an Impact?
- Group-Wide Ecommerce KPI Ownership
- Define and govern standardized ecommerce KPI definitions across the group.
- Align digital revenue, margin, and performance metrics with FP&A.
- Maintain a centralized KPI glossary and measurement framework.
- Ensure consistent data taxonomy across brands and platforms.
- Eliminate duplicated or conflicting performance reporting.
- Performance Frameworks (Marketplace, Aggregator & D2C)
- Design channel-specific performance measurement models, including:
- D2C: Conversion Rate, AOV, LTV, CAC
- Marketplace: TACOS, Share of Search, Organic vs Paid Mix
- Aggregators: SKU Productivity, Promotion Efficiency
- Build standardized dashboards for each ecommerce channel.
- Ensure performance comparability across brands and markets.
- Provide insights on growth drivers and performance gaps across platforms such as Amazon, Noon, and Talabat.
- Marketing & CRM ROI Measurement Standards
- Define ROI and attribution frameworks for:
- Retail Media
- Paid Search & Social
- CRM (Email, SMS, Loyalty programs)
- Establish tracking standards for CAC, ROAS, TACOS, and LTV.
- Ensure alignment between media investments and commercial outcomes.
- Partner with Retail Media and CRM leads to evaluate campaign performance.
- Benchmarking Across Brands & Platforms
- Develop internal benchmarking frameworks to compare brand performance.
- Benchmark digital maturity levels across brands and business units.
- Compare platform performance across key marketplaces and aggregators.
- Identify best practices, performance gaps, and high-performing brands.
- Highlight cross-brand scale opportunities.
- Group-Level Reporting & Executive Insights
- Own consolidated digital performance reporting for executives and board leadership.
- Translate platform metrics into clear commercial insights and strategic narratives.
- Prepare quarterly digital performance reports and dashboards.
- Identify strategic risks, improvement areas, and growth opportunities.
- Align reporting cadence with FP&A and leadership planning cycles.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor s degree in Marketing, IT, Business Management or related.
Experience
• 7+ years experience in managing multi brand FMCG E-commerce
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environment is mandatory.
