Roles & Responsibilities

Key Activities

  • Prepare and deliver research papers, studies, working papers, and periodic reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation of the Annual Report and indicator monitoring reports.
  • Develop, expand, and update economic modeling work.
  • Provide technical assistance to national central banks.
  • Participate in training programs for interns.
  • Participate in the preparation, organization, and delivery of workshops, including preparing presentations and working papers, and coordinating with relevant stakeholders as directed.
  • Prepare periodic updates on developments in monetary and financial topics.
  • Collect data from primary and secondary sources.

Desired Candidate Profile

Master of Economics, Statistics or related field PhD is preferable.

A minimum of 10 years of experience for Master s degree holders in the public sector (such as central banks, ministries, universities, etc.) or the private sector (such as regulatory/supervisory entities or similar organizations). A minimum of 5 years of experience for PhD holders. Proven record of published research in the fields of economics, finance, and policy.
