Job Purpose

The Economic Modeling Expert will be responsible for developing, implementing, and analyzing advanced economic and financial models to support strategic decision-making, policy evaluation, and forecasting. The role involves applying quantitative techniques, econometric methods, and simulation tools to assess economic impacts, forecast market trends, and provide actionable insights to senior management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up policies and standards to select, prepare and evaluate research/studies.
• Follow up on the Ministry`s project requirements including information and stats to offer required support at the development and implementation phases of each plan.
• Oversee sophisticated and large-scale studies and research required for the Ministry`s work.
• Continuously coordinate with in-house and outside advisors to ensure completion of project according to the determined plans and requirements.
• Validate all the accuracy and credibility of statistical data and information.
• Keep pace with the latest developments in data management and analysis and be acquainted with the new updates.
• Give recommendations, find weaknesses and strengths, and propose improvements on various issues and challenges.

Qualifications: Bachelor, Master's or PhD degree in economics.

Experience: 7+ years in the field of economic models (Empirical and applied economic data analysis).
