Roles & Responsibilities

The successful candidate will teach Cambridge IGCSE and A Level Economics within a structured, high-achieving environment that values academic rigor, student engagement, and international perspective.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach Economics at IGCSE and A Level (Cambridge International Curriculum).
  • Deliver engaging lessons covering microeconomics, macroeconomics, and global economic issues.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for Cambridge examinations.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing meaningful feedback.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental collaboration.
  • Support the wider life of the school, including extracurricular involvement.
  • Uphold safeguarding and pastoral responsibilities.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelor s degree in Economics or a related field.

  • Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching IGCSE and/or A Level Economics.
  • Strong subject knowledge and exam preparation experience.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence.
