Arabic content across all platforms. You will edit, translate, and refine high-visibility content, ensuring accuracy, cultural integrity, and alignment with the museum's house style. Working closely with authors, designers, researchers, and multiple departments, you’ll ensure every publication, script, label, and digital content meets world-class standards. Key Responsibilities: Edit and proofread Arabic publications with high linguistic and stylistic accuracy. Translate and review content from all departments across the museum, including external agencies. Ensure all materials follow the museum’s tone of voice and editorial guidelines. Build and maintain specialized glossaries for internal use. Rewrite text to improve clarity and accessibility for diverse audiences. Plan, organise, and prioritise workload in order to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Oversee the quality, consistency, and coherence of all Arabic content produced by all museum departments. Prepare content for designers, ensuring correct structure, hierarchy, and accuracy of text and imagery throughout the design workflow. Deliverables include publications such as museum guides, exhibition catalogues, children’s books, archeological journals, cookbooks, coffee-table books, gallery text and labels, audio-visual scripts, audio guide scripts, educational resources, website copy and social media text, press releases, internal reports, PowerPoint presentations, brochures, programmes, invitations, gift cards, retail catalogues, signage and e-commerce text, event kits, and menus.
