Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students' learning challenges and needs.
  • Provide counseling and support to students facing emotional, behavioral, and academic difficulties.
  • Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and interventions.
  • Facilitate workshops and training sessions for teachers and parents on topics such as learning styles, classroom management, and mental health.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and interventions.
  • Advocate for students' educational rights and provide guidance on special education processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of assessments, interventions, and progress.
  • Stay current with research and best practices in educational psychology and mental health.
  • Master's degree or higher in Educational Psychology, School Psychology, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience working as an educational psychologist in a school or clinical setting.
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and educators.
  • Familiarity with special education laws and processes in Saudi Arabia.
  • Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse caseload.
  • Strong commitment to promoting mental health and well-being in educational settings.

Desired Candidate Profile
