Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and specialized electroencephalogram (EEG) tests on patients of all age groups (inpatients and outpatients).
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, ensuring comfort, and applying electrodes according to the international 10–20 system.
  • Monitor patients during EEG testing and accurately document any clinical events or behaviors observed.
  • Operate EEG and related neurodiagnostic equipment safely and effectively, ensuring high-quality recordings.
  • Assist in long-term monitoring, ambulatory EEG, and video EEG studies when required.
  • Maintain and clean EEG equipment, ensuring regular calibration and troubleshooting issues promptly.
  • Collaborate with neurologists and medical staff to interpret test needs and support diagnosis.
  • Ensure patient data is correctly recorded, labeled, and securely stored following hospital and DHA protocols.
  • Adhere to infection control, patient privacy, and safety standards at all times.
  • Stay updated with new EEG technologies, procedures, and professional best practices through continued education.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Valid DHA license or eligibility
  • 2+ years of EEG experience in a hospital/clinical setting
  • Technical expertise and strong communication skills
