Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement project specific EHS plan/HSMP at project site.

Establish EHS objectives, monitor and communicate to project team

Conduct fitness and document screening of workmen (subcontractor s) prior to commencement of their work.

Inspect workmen facilities/camps and amenities ( eg: clean drinking water, food etc) periodically against safety standards and take appropriate actions.

Create and maintain a First Aid room on site and get some assigned staff/workmen trained to be first aid providers on site and display the first aid providers contact details at different locations on site.

Arrange for medical check-ups for staff on site

Arrange PPEs based on requirement.

Inspect materials, equipment and systems followed by subcontractor against project requirement and intervene where necessary.

Conduct EHS orientation initially and periodic training programs and toolbox talks subsequently, for all site workers and staff.

Arrange third party training to all critical roles such as rigger, lifting supervisors, bar being operator etc.

Conduct mock drills like Fire Drills and Procure, inspect and arrange to maintain safety equipment like Fire Extinguishers and emergency sirens

Order and put up safety signs on site and maintain them.

Do a site walk with site personnel Weekly

Ensure to complete periodic H&S audits and workplace inspections and address non-conformities immediately.
