Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs in compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
  • Lead and coordinate risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken promptly.
  • Establish and enforce EHS policies, procedures, and best practices across all operational areas.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to employees and management on EHS standards, emergency response, and safe work practices.
  • Monitor and report on EHS performance metrics, incidents, and compliance status to senior leadership.
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, conducting root cause analyses and implementing preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS considerations into operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving EHS regulations and industry trends, ensuring continuous improvement of EHS programs.
  • Manage relationships with regulatory agencies, external auditors, and other stakeholders regarding EHS matters.
  • Drive a culture of safety, environmental responsibility, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Environmental, Health, and Safety management within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing EHS policies, procedures, and training programs.
  • Strong knowledge of local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
  • Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience managing EHS compliance in a fast-paced, global organization.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and prepare clear, actionable reports.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with EHS management systems and relevant software tools.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
