Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS (Environmental, Health, and Safety) programs to ensure compliance with local, national, and international regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and implement preventive measures to minimize workplace accidents and environmental incidents.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training sessions for employees at all levels to promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
- Maintain accurate records of EHS incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective actions in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS best practices into operational processes and new projects.
- Prepare and submit required EHS reports to regulatory agencies and internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Support emergency response planning and participate in drills to ensure preparedness for potential incidents.
- Monitor and manage hazardous materials, waste disposal, and pollution prevention initiatives to minimize environmental impact.
- Stay current with evolving EHS regulations, standards, and industry trends to proactively address compliance and risk management.
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-6 years of experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Strong knowledge of local, national, and international EHS regulations and standards.
- Proven experience conducting risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective training and collaboration.
- Ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and EHS management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
