Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  1. Prepare detailed 2D/3D drawings for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems.

  2. Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.

  3. Interpret and implement design specifications, sketches, and engineering data.

  4. Coordinate MEP services with architectural and structural drawings.

  5. Ensure drawings comply with project standards, codes, and client requirements.

  6. Revise drawings based on feedback from engineers and site teams.

  7. Maintain organized documentation of all drawings and revisions.

  8. Assist in clash detection and coordination using BIM tools when required.

Desired Candidate Profile

  1. Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  2. Minimum 5–10 years of experience in MEP drafting.

  3. Proficiency in:

    • AutoCAD

    • Revit (preferred)

    • Navisworks (advantage)

  4. Strong understanding of MEP systems and construction processes.

  5. Familiarity with local and international codes and standards.

  6. Good communication and teamwork skills.
