Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
Supervise installation of electrical and instrumentation systems including cables, panels, field instruments, and control systems
Ensure all installation work complies with drawings, specifications, and project standards
Execute cable routing, termination, loop checking, and instrument hook-ups
Perform pre-commissioning and commissioning activities such as loop checks, functional testing, and system validation
Troubleshoot and resolve issues during commissioning and startup phases
Support system energization and plant startup activities
Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, vendors, and OEM representatives
Review engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical specifications
Prepare commissioning procedures, checklists, and reports
Maintain records of testing, calibration, and system performance
Ensure proper documentation and smooth handover to client
Coordinate with QA/QC and project teams for quality and progress control
Monitor site progress and report delays, risks, and technical issues
Desired Candidate Profile
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering
10–15+ years of experience in E&I installation and commissioning
Must have experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Refinery projects
Proven experience in overseas / international projects is mandatory
Strong knowledge of PLC, DCS, control systems, and field instrumentation
Hands-on experience in cable routing, termination, loop checking, and testing
Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, drawings, and technical documents
Experience in pre-commissioning, commissioning, and startup activities
Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong coordination and communication skills with clients, vendors, and teams
Familiar with safety standards and site compliance requirements
Preferred:
Experience in European projects or similar international standards
Ability to work in multi-disciplinary and multicultural environments
