Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Oversee all electrical and instrumentation (E&I) activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate E&I construction, installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities, including scheduling and resource allocation.
  • Supervise E&I teams, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure efficient and high-quality work execution.
  • Review and approve E&I designs, drawings, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of E&I systems to identify and address potential issues or deficiencies proactively.
  • Troubleshoot complex E&I problems, providing technical expertise and solutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
  • Manage the procurement of E&I materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other project stakeholders, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to facilitate effective communication and coordination.
  • Develop and implement E&I maintenance strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance programs, to maximize equipment lifespan.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Hold relevant professional certifications, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience in the oil and gas, petrochemical, or power generation industry.
  • Exhibit extensive knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems, including design, installation, and maintenance.
  • Have experience with various industry standards, such as NEC, IEC, and ISA.
  • Display strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively supervise and motivate teams.
  • Possess excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in relevant software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and SCADA systems.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Be fluent in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
