Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Participate in implementing technical office policies and procedures.

Coordinate BIM models across disciplines (MEP, architecture, structural, etc.) to ensure clash detection and interoperability.

Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.

Assist in the development and implementation of BIM-related technologies and processes.

Study the project contract documents (time schedule, project design drawings, etc.).

Prepare and review working shop drawings before sending the shop drawing to consultant for approvals.

Review sub-contractors shop drawings as well as outsourced shop drawings and coordinate their approval process with the project consultant.

Review and issue order to pay for subcontractors invoices.

Study and prepare requests for information (RFIs) for all missing, unclear, conflicting or other technical matters that may arise during construction.

Participate in solving/reporting any unexpected technical difficulties, and other problems that may arise during construction to the Technical Office Manager for discussion and proper solve.

Prepare Weekly, monthly progress report.

Desired Candidate Profile

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering.

+3 to 8 years of experience in Technical Office.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in BIM coordination.

Proficiency in BIM software such as Autodesk Revit, Microsoft Office, Navisworks and BIM 360.

Experience in Industrial / residential construction.

Contracting knowledge.

Mastering different drawing tools.
