Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed electrical designs, including schematics, layouts, and wiring diagrams, ensuring adherence to project specifications and relevant codes.
  • Perform accurate electrical load calculations and simulations to determine appropriate equipment sizing and ensure system efficiency and safety.
  • Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for electrical projects, including material costs, labor hours, and subcontractor expenses, using estimation software and industry knowledge.
  • Review and analyze project plans and specifications to identify electrical requirements and potential design challenges, proactively proposing solutions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, providing a strong foundation in electrical principles and design.
  • Hold relevant professional certifications, such as a Professional Engineer (PE) license, demonstrating commitment to professional standards.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical design and estimation, showcasing practical application of knowledge.
  • Have experience in the building construction industry, understanding the nuances of electrical systems within buildings.
