Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will:
- Assist in designing and implementing electrical systems for diverse projects
- Prepare technical drawings and system layouts using industry-standard software
- Conduct electrical system analysis, load calculations, and component selection
- Support testing, commissioning, and project delivery activities
- Collaborate with senior engineers and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to innovative renewable energy solutions
Desired Candidate Profile
Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in electrical engineering
- Proven experience with solar projects, substations, transmission lines, or lighting systems
- Strong background in electrical system design and analysis
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in: AutoCAD, ETAP, PVSyst (or similar design software)
- Deep knowledge of photovoltaic (PV) systems design and performance
- Understanding of high-voltage systems and grid integration
- Familiarity with electrical standards: IEEE, NEC, IEC, NESC
- Experience with electrical safety standards and regulations
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
Soft Skills:
- Fluent English (required)
- Excellent communication and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Team player with strong organizational skills
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices
