Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

The Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing and preparing detailed electrical system designs for building and infrastructure projects. The role involves coordinating with mechanical, architectural, and civil teams to ensure the integration of all design aspects in compliance with local codes, international standards, and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electrical systems, components, and schematics using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Altium Designer).
  • Conduct simulations and testing to validate designs before prototyping.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into final products.
  • Ensure designs meet regulatory and safety standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve design issues during development and production.
  • Prepare technical documentation and reports.
  • Participate in design reviews and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

Desired Candidate Profile

Requirements:

  • Bachelor s or Master s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in electrical design software and simulation tools.
  • Strong understanding of electrical manufacturing processes and materials.
  • Familiarity with industry standards such as IEEE, IEC, and NEC.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • UPDA Holder
