Job Position: Electrical Design Engineer (Primary)

Roles & responsibilities:

• Design and develop electrical systems for 132kV -380kV GIS Substation..
• Create detailed engineering drawings and specifications for cable systems.
• Perform calculations and simulations to ensure the electrical systems meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into larger projects.
• Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and advancements in electrical design.
• Provide technical support and guidance to project teams and clients.
• Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to source and evaluate electrical components.
• Review and approve electrical designs and modifications.
• Document and maintain accurate records of design processes and project progress.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Professional certification or licensure in electrical engineering.
• Minimum of 5-8 years of work experience in electrical design.
• Experience in the power transmission and distribution industry.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to electrical systems.
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software for electrical design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in design documentation.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional teamwork.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
