Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Electrical design of Power Transformer up to 50MVA, 132 kV class Transformers.
  • Design preparation & Bill of Materials as per customer requirements / specifications.
  • Preparation of Customer Technical Submittals.
  • Checking complete manufacturing drawings and confirm to customer specifications
  • Communication with Sales, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance departments, Suppliers and Customers.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in Power Transformer Design Department of any Transformer manufacturing Company
  • Work experience in Transformer as per IEC and ANSI standards.
  • Work experience in Foil Winding, CTC conductors, Disc Winding, hermetically sealed conservator type transformers, and on-load tap changer.
  • Knowledge in FoxPro, DesDT, ITRACS, or any Transformer Design Software and MS Windows.
  • Knowledge of full transformer calculations (SC, Loading, Cooling, Impulse, etc.).
  • Good communication and supervision skills.
  • Bachelor in Electrical Engineering.
