Location: Dubai (Head Office: Mumbai, India)Salary Budget: 45 LPANationality: Indian preferredIndustry: Data CentersWe are looking for a highly skilled Electrical Design Solutions Engineer (Presales) to join our team and contribute to the development of cutting-edge data center projects. This role is crucial in bridging client requirements with technical feasibility, ensuring that all proposed solutions meet international standards while also being commercially viable. Based in Dubai, with close collaboration with our headquarters in Mumbai, the position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of the data center industry.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will lead presales technical engagements, conducting in-depth discussions with clients to understand their needs and propose reliable, scalable electrical solutions. You will be responsible for preparing comprehensive design proposals, technical specifications, and presentations, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives.Your role will involve performing detailed engineering tasks, such as load calculations, electrical distribution design, redundancy planning for UPS, generators, and switchgear, as well as integration of vendor technologies. Preparing Bills of Quantities (BOQs), technical documentation, and cost estimates for RFP/RFQ submissions will be a core function.In addition, you will work closely with sales and business development teams, providing bid support and technical expertise that strengthens client confidence. You will also engage in vendor evaluations, ensuring the chosen technologies align with client expectations and project budgets. Ensuring adherence to global standards such as IEC, IEEE, NFPA, and Uptime Institute guidelines is paramount. Finally, you will provide ongoing technical support during client workshops, meetings, and project handovers.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).8-12 years of professional experience, with at least 5+ years in data center electrical design and presales.Strong expertise in HV/LV systems, UPS, switchgear, grounding, and power protection.Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, ETAP, or equivalent tools.Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.Ability to effectively balance technical detail with commercial discussions.This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives at the intersection of technical innovation and client engagement, and who is motivated to play a pivotal role in shaping mission-critical data center infrastructure across global markets.
