Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and revise electrical drawings including SLDs, grounding layouts, lighting layouts, cable routing, schematics, and panel schedules
  • Ensure drawings comply with Saudi Aramco drafting standards and project requirements
  • Coordinate with Electrical Design Engineers and other disciplines
  • Review vendor drawings and incorporate required changes
  • Maintain organized drawing files, databases, and revision control
  • Assist in preparing bill of quantities (BOQ) and material take-offs
  • Support site teams with updated drawings and documentation
  • Ensure accuracy, clarity, and consistency across all drawings
  • Attend design and coordination meetings as required

    Skills Required:

    • Strong AutoCAD and electrical drafting skills
    • Good understanding of electrical systems and engineering drawings
    • Experience preparing drawings for oil & gas facilities
    • Knowledge of Aramco CAD requirements and SAES standards
    • Attention to detail and strong document control discipline

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Drafting / Electrical Engineering
Mandatory: Experience working on Saudi Aramco projects
3 7 years of experience in electrical drafting for oil & gas, EPC, or industrial projects
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, or relevant drafting software
Familiarity with Aramco CAD standards, SAES, and project documentation requirements
