Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Create precise electrical schematics and layout drawings using CAD software to meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret project requirements and ensure all designs align with technical standards.
  • Review and revise drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare detailed documentation, including material lists and installation instructions, to facilitate smooth project execution.
  • Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project requirements, ensuring that designs are practical and feasible.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, ensuring all designs comply with legal standards.
  • Support the procurement process by providing technical specifications and collaborating with suppliers on electrical components.
  • Utilize simulation software to analyze electrical systems and troubleshoot potential design issues before implementation.
  • Participate in team meetings to present designs, gather input, and contribute to problem-solving discussions.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of addressing design challenges and providing innovative solutions.
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards relevant to the region, crucial for compliance and safety.
  • Proven experience of 3-5 years in electrical drafting within the construction or manufacturing industry, demonstrating practical knowledge.
  • A diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related field, providing a solid foundation in electrical principles.
