Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
We are looking for a detail-oriented Electrical Draftsman to prepare accurate electrical drawings and layouts in support of engineering and project teams. The role involves drafting, modifying, and coordinating electrical documentation in line with project requirements and applicable standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and revise electrical drawings including lighting layouts, power layouts, single-line diagrams (SLD), schematics, and shop drawings.
- Develop detailed drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit based on approved design inputs.
- Coordinate with electrical engineers, MEP teams, and project managers to incorporate design changes.
- Ensure drawings comply with local authority regulations, project specifications, and industry standards.
- Maintain drawing registers and manage document control revisions.
- Support site teams with as-built drawings and technical clarifications.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Diploma or ITI in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Proven experience as an Electrical Draftsman (preferably in MEP / construction / EPC projects).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit knowledge is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of electrical systems, symbols, and standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
