Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create detailed electrical schematics and layouts using CAD software, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to interpret project specifications and integrate them into design documents.
- Prepare and revise technical drawings, including wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and circuit design, for various electrical systems.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess existing conditions, ensuring accurate representation in drawings.
Desired Candidate Profile
An associate degree or higher in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field, demonstrating a solid foundation in electrical principles.
Certification as a CAD Technician or similar qualification to validate proficiency in design software and practices.
A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in electrical drafting, preferably in industrial or commercial settings.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit software, with a strong understanding of electrical design processes and standards.
