Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

Overview:

Our client is looking for an Electrical & Electronics Design Engineer who combines creative design thinking with precision engineering — someone who can design control boards one day, wire up a prototype rig the next, and help demonstrate it to clients the day after.

You’ll design and prototype the brains and nervous systems that power our innovations — from intelligent product systems and embedded control boards to automated test jigs and experimental exhibits at the Innovation Hub.

Expect to work across power design, control electronics, sensor integration, and automation logic — turning ideas into robust, demonstrable reality.

Key Responsibilities:

Electronic Design & Development

· Design and prototype electronic control systems, power modules, and embedded circuits for smart devices, robotics, and automation.

· Create schematics and PCB layouts using tools like KiCAD, Altium, or Eagle, ensuring manufacturability and compliance with signal integrity and EMC standards.

· Develop and test power management systems, including DC-DC converters, battery circuits, and protection modules.

· Design and integrate sensor/actuator interfaces for temperature, motion, pressure, proximity, and optical sensing.

· Build measurement and instrumentation circuits for testing and validation setups.

· Conduct hands-on bench testing, debugging, and calibration of circuits and subsystems.

Embedded Systems & Control

· Program microcontrollers (STM32, ESP32, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Jetson) for sensing, control, and communication.

· Develop firmware for automation logic, sensor integration, and user interfaces.

· Implement communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, CAN, Modbus, and MQTT.

· Interface with mechanical components (motors, solenoids, servos) for precise and safe actuation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electronics into complete systems.

Prototyping, Testing & Integration

· Assemble and validate prototype boards, control units, and electronic assemblies for lab and field deployment.

· Support fabrication of custom wiring harnesses, sensor assemblies, and control panels.

· Design automated test setups for motion, electrical load, and environmental simulations.

· Troubleshoot and refine systems for performance, reliability, and safety.

Client Interaction & Demonstration

· Assist in system installation, commissioning, and live demonstrations for clients and stakeholders.

· Support interactive exhibits and installations combining electronics, motion, sensors, and visual feedback.

· Provide technical training and explanations to users and partners.

· Ensure systems meet safety and aesthetic standards for public-facing applications.

Innovation Hub & R&D Support

· Maintain the electronics infrastructure within the Innovation Hub — including power, control, and instrumentation systems.

· Support cross-functional R&D efforts involving automation, smart systems, IoT, and sustainability.

· Design and maintain electrical test rigs and embedded validation setups for internal development.

Required Skills & Competencies:

· Strong grounding in analog and digital circuit design and embedded systems.

· Experience with PCB design software (KiCAD, Altium, or Eagle).

· Understanding of power systems, DC motor control, and low-voltage design principles.

· Proficiency in microcontroller programming (C/C++) and scripting (Python).

· Familiarity with sensor integration and signal conditioning circuits.

· Ability to prototype, solder, assemble, and troubleshoot independently.

· Knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, Modbus).

· Competence with lab test equipment — oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analyzers, signal generators.

· Understanding of EMC, ESD, and grounding practices.

· Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechatronics, or Embedded Systems Engineering.

· 3–7 years of relevant experience in electronics design, product development, or R&D.

· Portfolio of functional prototypes or embedded systems demonstrating design capability.

Benefits:

· Salary: to be discussed during interview

· Visa, Insurance & Yearly Ticket to be provided.

· Supportive work environment.
