Electrical Engineer - Data Centres

• Supervise and manage day-to-day electrical works at site.

• Ensure execution is carried out as per approved shop drawings, specifications, and project standards.

• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and internal teams for smooth execution.

• Guide and monitor electricians, supervisors, and site workers during installation activities.

• Review and interpret electrical shop drawings, layouts, and coordination drawings.

• Monitor installation quality, progress, and compliance with project requirements.

• Ensure proper execution of:

  • Cable tray & trunking systems

  • Power and control cabling

  • Cable terminations

  • Earthing & bonding systems

  • Panel installation

  • Containment systems

• Support testing & commissioning activities where required.

• Identify and resolve site-related technical issues proactively.

• Maintain safety standards and ensure compliance with site HSE requirements.

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.

• 6–8 years of experience in electrical execution works.

• Prior experience in Data Center projects or mission-critical facilities is highly preferred.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Data center electrical infrastructure

  • LV systems

  • UPS systems

  • Generator integration

  • Busbar/trunking systems

  • Containment and cabling methodology

  • Electrical installation standards

• Ability to read and understand:

  • Shop drawings

  • Single line diagrams (SLDs)

  • Coordination drawings

  • Termination details

• Good practical knowledge of site execution methodologies and sequencing.

• Experience working in fast-paced construction environments.

• Strong coordination and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures for electrical installations.

• Familiarity with testing and commissioning processes.

• Ability to manage subcontractors and workforce efficiently.

• GCC/UAE project experience preferred.
