· Knowledge of NEC/IEC code and standard;

· Marine/Offshore Main Switchboard design;

· P&ID design for Marine/Offshore Integrated Control System (ICS);

· Good knowledge in SOLAS / MODU and other class regulation requirement;

· Good drafting skill and documentation skill;

· Had experience in Dynamic positioning (DP) and Failure Mode Analysis (FMEA)

· Able to attend meeting confidently and settle site technical issue independently;

Electrical and electronics engineers design, develop, and maintain electrical systems, equipment, and electronic devices for industrial automation, HVAC air con equipment automation. Their responsibilities include research, system design, testing and quality control, manufacturing supervision, compliance with safety standards, project management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to bring new technologies to market.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and Development:Design and develop electrical and electronic systems, components, and devices, such as control panel, DB panel, VFD, PLC Control. Use software to create blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for new designs. Research and evaluate the feasibility and performance of new electrical systems and components.
• Testing and Maintenance:Test and inspect new and existing electrical systems and components to ensure efficiency, reliability, and safety. Troubleshoot and investigate failures in electrical and electronic systems. Develop and implement maintenance plans for electrical equipment.
• Project Management:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop project plans, timelines, and budgets. Manage engineering projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. Review tenders and prepare contracts for construction or maintenance projects.
• Compliance and Standards:Ensure that all designs and installations comply with global engineering codes, safety standards, and regulations. Develop manufacturing standards and quality control processes for electrical projects.
• Collaboration and Supervision:Work closely with other engineers, technicians, project managers, and stakeholders to achieve project goals. Supervise technicians, technologists, and other engineers working on projects.
