We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to design, develop, and manage electrical systems and components to required specifications, with a focus on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability. You will also liaise with other departments and external contractors to integrate and bring projects to life effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for industrial, commercial, and domestic projects in accordance with client requirements.
• Develop and implement testing procedures to ensure the quality and functionality of electrical systems.
• Collaborate with project managers to determine project scopes, schedules, and budgets.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost estimates for new projects and system upgrades.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineering teams and other departments.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations on all projects.
• Maintain project documentation and prepare reports on project progress and outcomes.
• Supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical equipment and systems.
• Identify and resolve complex technical issues during the project lifecycle.
• Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with external contractors and clients to deliver projects successfully.
• Stay updated with technological advancements and integrate these into new designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical engineering or a related industry.
• Proficient in using CAD software and electrical engineering design tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to the industry.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to engineering challenges.
• Effective communication skills to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities under tight deadlines efficiently.
